Brass Solidarity is built out of the tradition of resilience and community fortitude through music.

Brass Solidarity is a convergence of musicians, activists, and community members using our sound as a voice for justice and an advocate for Black Lives. We were birthed from the movement for Black Liberation in George Floyd Square, meeting weekly as a continuous offering to the community. Our music is by the people and for the people as a passionate campaign to spread love and uplift BIPOC communities.

Brass Solidarity seeks to build a repertoire of songs that can contribute to movement spaces, events and actions for Justice in coordination with movement leadership.

Our musicians work for justice, not money. Stipends and donations we receive go directly into our work.
